Diane Farina White, MA


Since August 2011, Diane has served as President/CEO of CSS. She brings over 25 years of nonprofit leadership to CSS. Her experience not only encompasses over 13 years of working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, but also a broad knowledge and experience based in education, domestic violence, mental health, and healthcare topics. Diane currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Public Policy for People with Disabilities to help improve the quality of programs and services throughout Illinois. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from Northern Illinois University and has a Master of Arts in Human Services from Concordia University.

Michele Perry

Chief Financial Officer

Michele has been with CSS since March 2017. She brings over 15 years of nonprofit financial management experience as well as eight years in the for profit world. Her former organizations include such major companies such as BP America, BMO Harris Bank, Howard Brown Health Center, and Forefront, formerly known as Donors Forum. Michele is responsible for financial oversight of CSS’ six million dollar budget and its 11 owned and operated facilities. This includes oversight of a variety of public and private funding streams. She also manages a staff of five. Michele holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University.

Carole Graves, MM, MBA

Vice President of Operations

Carole serves as the Vice President of Operations and brings over 15 years of nonprofit operations experience. Some of her former organizations include Seven Hills Foundation, Hearth Inc, Vinfen, Eliot Community Human Services and Arc of Northern RI. Carole is responsible for the operations oversight of various programs at CSS including Day and Employment, Clinical Services, Residential, Home and Community-Based Programs and the CSS Arts Academy.

Carole holds a BA in Psychology and Public Health from Boston University, an MBA from Bryant University with a focus in Nonprofit Management and Marketing. She also earned her Master’s in Music at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee that included working with special needs populations. As the President of Legato Music Inc for over 10 years, her organization provided music programming to people with disabilities and those with complex medical and mental health needs.

Meloneze Gilbert, PHR, SHRM-CP

Director of Human Resources

Meloneze serves as the Director of Human Resources, and has been with CSS since 2008. She comes to CSS with over 10 years in administration. Her responsibilities include hiring, managing, training, and coordinating CSS’ staff of over 200 employees. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University, a Certificate in Professional Human Resources (PHR), and is a Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP.)

Michelle Jimenez

Vice President of Marketing and Development

Michelle brings over 20 years of development and marketing experience to CSS. She has expertise in annual fund development and capital campaign management. She is responsible for CSS’ fundraising, marketing and volunteer management. Since her start in 2012, the organization has experienced significant improvements in fundraising activities and grant management. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Becky Johnson

Director of Operations

Becky has been with CSS since September of 2006 and currently holds the position of Director of Operations. She comes to the organization with over 20 years of administrative experience. Becky ensures that the operations of CSS runs smoothly by overseeing facilities, technology, supplies, volunteers and administrative staff. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drake University and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership Excellence.
